I am signed up for the OED word of the day email, and am sketching out comics as a visual reminder for each word to help me with retention. Like so:

While chatting with my beloved cousin Lisa it became clear that we have a genetic predisposition to having useless memories. We both tend to depend on our significant others like back-up hard drives when it comes to fond remembrances. So in an effort to retain basic brain functionality I am working out my mind with the OED comics. I am also using the free language accusation site Duolingo, introduced to me by another excellent cousin. Whut up Tallin! Je parle français like a boss. Though my accent remains flat as a crêpe.
