I have been sketching a portrait of my daughter every day for the past few months. Some small part of my black little heart is hoping my daughter will have this bird's reaction when I show her the sketches. Instead I usually get, "May I have a peanut butter and jelly sandwich cut into the shape of a butterfly please?"
