I loves Thomas Galvin's blog something awful. He is an author of many fine books and a hilarious recapper of many fine television shows. I particularly love his recaps of "The Vampire Diaries", a show that I watch with equal amounts of grown woman shame and girlish delight.
Oh show, I just can't quit you. Even though your female protagonist has become "sired" (sigh) to a 150-year-old serial killer. The latest episode ended with the serial killer trying to break up with the teenager and failing. I can't stop thinking about that frustrating scene, to the detriment of my to-do list. I was spending way too much time glancing at the show forums over on Television Without Pity. So I made my thoughts into comics, therefore freeing up my brain for actual work.
These comics were highly influenced by Mr. Galvin's recaps, mind you.
